Water Bicarbonate (HCO3-)

When you dissolve limestone, you get calcium and carbonate. The carbonate reacts with water to produce bicarbonate. Testing bicarbonate is how you tell the alkalinity of your water. The typical range for bicarbonate in bottled water is 50 to 200 mg/l.
Carbonated water is generally prescribed to who suffer epatobiliaric disorders and it is recommended to who practise sport, since bicarbonate and calcium are able to neutralise lactic acid.

Sort all waters by Bicarbonate.
